Mint looking Vanson padded CHP in size 44 for ~625usd/575eur before discounts.
Seems like a recent model with the meh Vanson branded YKK branded hardware with plastic parts though..

Vanson CHP size 36 with a beautiful tan core and Talon zippers for ~270usd / ~240eur.

Forgive my newbie-ness, but was the winning bid of $500 considered a good deal?
Soso is the jeans brand that does 33oz denim, second heaviest denim in the world and easily available for ordering (the heaviest one is limited production run). The jeans is made in Thailand, with a lot of customization available. I expect their leather jacket to be the same, full-grain leather but made in Thailand. Brand new leather jackets from them retail at $800, before customization.

High Large is the same brand as Fine Creek, just using a different name. Fine Creek has strong resale value, even for used jackets. In the US, Fine Creek retails at about $2k, with sales jackets can be found for $1.2-1.5k. I’d expect used jackets on the JP market can be found for about $1k, sometimes slightly less for bin. Bidding auctions like the above tend to go a bit lower to not wait for a willing buyer, but priced to move the item quickly. I’d say fair market value for that style, prob a deal.
