I’m not fully convinced that Roughwear made Admiral Byrd jackets. As a patent holder, Roughwear could have licensed its patent out to other makers (CSC, LA Sportogs) for a fee, so other makers could use its patent. It’s a possibility (50-50 I’d say), which means it’s no definitive proof.
For example, are the followings not the two-way pocket made by CSC?
How about something different? Jacket by Rich-Sher was made by Novelty Sportswear, not Roughwear
