I think a canvas Lightning clone for the price of a used Lightning (or Goldtop's current armoured leather Lightning clone) seems a bit steep.

Maybe. You’re probably right. But I’d take the canvas LW (I have two and want more) over either of those jackets.

Yep, monster grain on this one. Seller even included a page from Rin Tanaka's book; says value is $600-800. It isn't, but is a solid $300, give or take. Paging @jeo , might be his size, but I suspect he is not big on CRs either.

Thanks for the tag. This one will be big on me. Not into the later Harley jackets. Late 50’s black label is where I stop with the HD stuff. I’m also not the biggest fan of the HD CR cut. Only CR I’d go for nowadays are the 50’s/60’s Taubers.
