...in my opinion - and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong - that's an insane asking price for a pair of used trousers, especially considering you can get a brand new pair for little over 400 GBP. I mean, these used pants. Variety of leakage going on around pants is far more diverse than just armpit sweat. But okay. I made my offer, which was 270 GBP. I don't even know why. I like leather pants. I never EVER wear them but they're cool. Whatever. Seller rejects. Fine. All the numbers work, leather looks nice, I ask the seller what the shipping would be and I get this message...

"Hi, your first offer was far below my expectation and I am therefore not considering shipping to you. Your feedback suggests that you are a re-seller which is fine and I hope you understand that your first offer was 67% of the full asking price which to me is rather...….!"

Rather what? So my feedback, which counts 170 transactions consisting of approx. 12 sold jackets, most of which I sold at a loss, suggests that I'm a re-seller?

Also, that's really rich coming from a guy that bought this...

Sorry to hear of your frustration monitor. I was able to buy a pair of basically unworn Aero rider style and cut leather pants from the FL classifies a couple of months ago for a much better price. I prefer the rider high cut waist and style because I only wear leather pants when riding. I'm not Jim Morison. I understand Aero has discontinued the jean cut pants. Maybe that influenced the sellers' view of the value :eek:

I don't see anything wrong with him marking up his find to a price he thought he could reasonably get for it, but the way he responded to your inquiry was way out of line. He doesn't need your money, @Monitor.
