https://ebay.us/m/qGJz1P Is this jacket a Taubers CR?
This ad is from 1984, I believe most with this label had a Taubers connection. I have identical vest with each label. I believe this is the last advertising with the Taubers name.

Sleeves look a little short

Would be worth asking for a measurement. Might be an optical illusion in the photos. Combination of angle and body length. This model came in in 73, and was as memory serves one of the early elongated styles to allow for a more crouched riding position.

This is an interesting jacket. I've seen the Bormcolt label with an Admiral Byrd label. Good looking heavy hide and a beautiful lining and collar. Probably made by Roughwear or Fried Osterman (Albert Richard)

Here it is

Made by Borman Sportswear (aka Borman Sheep Lined Coat Co.)

They were one of the makers for the Admiral Byrd label

I always thought my Admiral Byrd was made by Albert Richard, mostly because of the cut. Now because of this eBay jacket I can confidently say Borman.

Here’s it is

Now compared to the label on the eBay jacket. Same exact lining.

This one has a store label

And this one has Rough Wear’s two way pocket patent ticket. That means they did license that out and not all jackets that have that are made by Rough Wear.

Another discovery! I have several jackets in this style, I will sort them out and post them for comparison. Some have Byrd labels, some have none, some catalog labels.

Now there are 3 verified makers for Admiral Byrd labeled jackets, right? So, I continue to ask, Who owned the Byrd label? We need to figure that out.
