Suede doesn't get a lot of play, but here's a couple of 50s/60s bombers in 44 anyway: silk-lined blue from M Bogen Co. (assume as of Bogen & Tenenbaum) going for $89 and a rather creased Herc for $119 obo.

Brand-name suede jacket don’t get any love and are often found for sub-$100. A 1930s Admiral Byrd suede jacket sold for $10 recently, just 1 bid. The trick with a dirty suede jacket is to dye it in a darker color — it would look sparkling new after.

Anyone know what model this would be? Just an old C2? May try and snag it if I can try it on first!

EDIT: went and bought it! Looks to be an older C2 with the belt loops removed, maybe a thunderbird since I can't find any remnants of belt loops beyond the front. Nevertheless, might be ever so small in the sleeves but giving it a go to get a feel for how I like a smaller fitting cross-zip.
