While Stewie is likely smoking crack with pricing, it is a neat jacket. Not my first color choice tho but may be up someone’s alley here. View attachment 722831
Well he did add in the description, so not like he’s unaware of his pricing:
OR MAYBE ‘DEEP POCKETS SINK MARRIAGES’

Might not be the crack pipe you're after - but it's relative. For instance, this is how Real McCoys would price it
J24 - $3300
Mouton Collar - $335
Belt - $230
All for a grand total of $3865.

And for that, you get a much better deal with LW:
1) more functional/can handle the elements better
2) Precise stitching on heavier leather
3) Navy HH - RMC doesn’t even offer it
4) Vintage zippers, not the flimsy talon repros that RMC produces

Does Stuart have a button for you?

Stu is crazy to think he could compete with RMC in terms of pricing. RMC is a heritage brand that makes a lot of high-quality non-leather clothing items as well, with a stronger brand recognition.

Stu is equally insane to price a non-custom jacket at $3875 when a custom one goes for $4215. Maybe at half like $2100 makes more sense, like how GW does it and actually sells quickly. But even at $2100 for a new non-custom leather jacket is still crazy, that’s a new custom Thedi or GW jacket. There’s a reason why LW used jackets’ pricing is in the low-mid hundreds.

He’s definitely “lost” in his own “world.”

I didn’t bring up RMC to suggest that Lost Worlds compete with them. I brought it up because their j24 is considered a TFL-“darling”.

A non-custom jacket would cost you $2990 including studded belt and mouton collar. But compared to other jackets sitting in that price bracket, you get more for your money imo. Not trying to say these are steals or for everyone.

Last time I saw GW being discussed, it was because a guy hadn’t received his jacket in 10 years.

Also hilarious that when it’s $3800+ from LW it’s based on crack, but when RMC does it, it’s “heritage”

You’ve obviously got a button for ChatGPT.
Glad to feature in your comic strip.
That’s what I love about TFL, we can keep things light, folks don’t take everything seriously and we can have some fun!

Imagine being so emotionally invested in a jacket that you read a critique and have to lie down in a dark room. I never expect my comments to trigger a loyalty oath.
