Per the seller: 1940s Narrayanfett horsehide A2. The knits are shot and it needs a new lining but the leather and graining is looking good. Approximately $270 USD at the moment.

For all the Buzz Rickson's fans - A2 with rear stencil, size 36. Approximately $500 USD - there's a scratch on the right front panel by the pocket and what looks to be a very small hole in the waist knit, but overall it looks really nice.

For anyone in the Portland, OR area - Facebook Marketplace vintage Langlitz for $425 USD.

Seller notes two small areas of damage to the leather, but also states that Langlitz confirmed these areas do not affect the wearability, and will not get worse.

I don't know why but I'm always on the hunt for a cool project piece, and things like this tickle me.

My guess is that Langlitz could provide the necessary repairs and someone could quite happily find themselves in possession of a great, vintage Langlitz for a relatively good price.

This is a nice one. Early 60s, not horsehide. I've seen a variety of interiors in this era, but this is the first with "wool" lining. These are great jackets by a great name, Taubers. If you want a cross zip in this size, take a good look.

@soreilly the seller incorrectly labels it as a J-100, which it's not. It looks like an older version of the new (now horsehide) Buco Style King.

I now this; California Sportswear Co. made the jacket in steerhide in the 1950s. The Palm Tree, made in California logo, are CSC. They were one the 3 major suppliers of leather outerwear for Sears. CSC began making leather jackets in the mid 1930. Leather Sportswear is all they did.
