L'oreal Lineur Intense

Been my favorite liquid liner for years. On occasion, I use B.E. Retro liner.. it comes with a special brush which makes application super easy and perfect..coupled with Benefit's She-Laq.. you're good to go!!

I use Wet n Wild liquid eyeliner. It does the job and is very cheap, about £2. I recently bought MAC's fluidline gel liner which you have to apply with a brush but this gives a much more soft effect than the liquid and I prefer the liquid liner to be honest.

I've been using a Rimmel one for almost 10 years. It's the best i've found and so cheap! Will look up the exact name though.

I've been using Rimmel for years too, its great in brown if your a Brunette as it's still really dark but looks less stark for daytime makeup than black does.

I buy the cheapest sort but always use an artists fine watercolour paint brush with a very fine point to apply it (it makes a big difference for me and my unsteady hands!!!!). It really is unbeatable.

Thanks for the tips ladies! I spent all of my gift card on shoes today (I couldn't help it!), so I think I'll go to the drugstore tonight and maybe try the Rimmel eyeliner.

I see I'm too late! LOL I was going to recommend Clinique's True Black cream/gel liner! Absolutely the blackest black and goes on with ease. Also, Bobbi Brown makes some terrific gel liners, too. At the drugstore, I love NYC's liquid liner! Cheap and long lasting!

I find the liquid liners difficult to work with, so I use cream/gel liners. My favourite is MAC's Fluidline, used with an angled brush. And it truly stays put!

I second L'oreal Lineur Intense. I really like the cake eyeliner as well, where you wet the brush and draw the line on.

im a fan of the rimmel exaggerate liner, it stays on for ages, it's really black and its cheap too!

I use this one too..... My friend bought me a Chanel one for my birthday and it doesn't go on jet black, it looks patchy and grey in areas, clean tube thought, its like one of the Touche Eclat ones.... Good for flicks at the sides but not a spot on the Rimmel

I recently bought YSL's black liquid eyeliner as a complete liquid eyeliner virgin; and I love it. However it is £19.50... but does come in a slinky gold bottle, has a thin brush and glides on perfectly. I've had no problems with it yet and I certainly don't have a steady hand!

Although, it does take a bit longer to apply liner properly to my left eyelid (I'm right handed) I can't seem to get the angle right at all... Any have tips on this?

I have the same problem--I didn't use liquid eyeliner for years because it looked so terrible on my left eye!

I use my left hand to pull my eyelid slightly taut then, holding the applicator in my right hand so my pinky is resting on my cheekbone and my palm is facing my face I draw the line from the center of my eyelid out to the edge. I've found it's a lot easier to do this with a sponge applicator rather than a brush but that might just be me. The trick for me was finding that perfect spot--not too low so that I bump into my eyelashes but not too high so that there's a strip of bare eyelid underneath the liner. It's all practice, I think.

I use Estee Lauders Pure color liquid eyeliner in black usually. But I have recently tried a really great product by Revlon, their colorstay liquid liner in 'black shimmer'. It's a fun evening alternative to plain black with just a slight hint of a silvery shimmer in it in the right light. Very pretty.

I have used liquid eyeliner everyday for 18 years and I still have problems from time to time (at least once a week) with the left angle going up correctly. It gets better with practice but honestly I have just given up on redoing it over and over if it is not flawless, after a while you can usually get it at least close enough to where other people will not notice.

I'm using Urban Decay liquid eyeliner. The brush is nice, very thin so I can apply a thin line or thick but you have to have a very very steady hand. Its so easy to mess up. I will be changing it out soon because even after the liner dries, its still a little shiny- I hate that! I like something more matte.

edited to add; it will stay on as long as you don't wash it off, it doesn't flake or build up at the edges, and its sweat proof.

I like almay black liquid linner, it had a really nice fine felt tip, I love it I can make really thin lines.

I use medium brown instead of black because I think black looks too harsh on me. 6 months ago, maybe, Revlon was making matte eyeshadows, so I scooped up a good medium/dark brown shade and have been using that with water for my eyeliner ever since.

I rarely wear eyeliner because I need to touch it up a lot during the day. I have deep set eyes with heavy lids, so it tends to rub off a bit under my eyebrow. Anyone else experience this? I've been thinking about getting that Benefit "She-laq" but I don't know how well it will work for this particular problem.

I use Guerlain (Divinora), it is very expensive but it is the only one I could find that didn't have a ****tastic brush. The brush is very fine, pointed and with good tension, so you can make fine lines with precision (I am not an expert at eyeliner though). I used felt tips in the past but it is difficult to make a fine line when you want to, and the pigment tends to accumulate on the sides of the line. In any case I do not use liquid eyeliner often because it takes very long to get it perfect

Anyway. I have hooded eyelids too and the dreaded transfer to the upper eyelid. Not with this one, once it dries, it stays where its meant to stay all day, no smudging, and goes on very opaque. I use black but I am sure they must have brown too.

Yes, checked the website, they have black, brown, dark blue, purplish taupe and copper.

And the bottle is so pretty lol

I use Max Factor's liquid eyeliner, the first I have ever bought, and I'm finding it fairly easy to apply. But what I do to make my job easier is I trace the line with kohl then go over it with liquid eyeliner. Quite pleased with the result especially as I have hooded eyes too and kohl smudges really quickly - not anymore, in this formula the black stays put all day and no smudging!

On the minus side it seems to sometime dry in the bottle, just like that, and I can't get a proper line, then next day is fine! There seems to be a density problem with it and I have been thinking to try another brand, assuming they would all stay put, now I see this might not necessarily be the case...I looked today at Rimmel's and put it back, the tip is very different from the felt one I used and I didn't feel confident that I could use that. It seemed kinda long and very thin, not sure how much control I would have with something like that.

I felt similarly about felt p ) tips, but now I really prefer thin brushes. I wanted to try MACs Blacktrack, with an angled brush, but I don't think it is worth for me to spend the money since I am too lazy for liquid eyeliner most of the time and I already have a good one [huh]

I used many different types of liquid liner throughout the years and my absolute favorite is actually one a friend bought me for my birthday last year. Shu Uemura's liquid liner. A bit pricey, but the brush is like a fine paintbrush and it goes on so smoothly without a bump or skip and lasts all day.

did anyone mention mac's fluidline ? it's super resistant (water, weather, crying, anythig really...) . i apply it with a simple (very thin) brush i bought at the craft store. line comes out beautiful and stays put all day :eusa_clap
