Ever tried for a "look" and ended up with something else, but fabulous?

I've tried many a set which came out to be something else entirely.... Yet, somehow, some turned out grand, yet not what I had intended. (And of course can't recreate!)

I think the only time I've ever done this is with food. I tried to make one thing and ended up with something else--but it tasted even better! lol

it happens to me all the time! i set it the same way and many times my hair wants to do something other than what I intended. so many factors that can influence that I guess, but I'm never disappointed (except that one time I tried re-doing my dry pin curls over night - frizz city the next day!).

I have it also a lot,
I fiddle with my hair just before going to bed and it looks awsome
and the next day it won't sit like it

That's why I never did a tutorial on any style,
When I think of doing "this" I wil end up with getting "that"
