Evans Sweson Umbrella

My girlfriend bought this at an antique store on Saturday. I was wondering if any of you could shed any light on it?

Marilyn Monroe had a famous one by this company. Not my thing but wondering if there is a connection to the Evan brand compacts? Will look more. Many reproductions of these old umbrellas but charming. I cannot see the sun mark well but possibly an Oriental design.

Evans Sweson was in business making umbrellas from the early 20th century until the mid-60s.
