and esquire is by no means a "soft-appreciation" magazine. Pick up the latest Vogue or any womans mag for that matter and then tell me esquire is soft-appreciation....

It's easy really. You just type the word "July," or whichever month you are referring to. The names of the months are pretty easy for a sharp guy to learn, and most require just a few keystrokes, unless it's a November issue, which might prove taxing.
