Suave, Debonair genuine smart dapper... the ideal for all men to follow... once upon a time. Unfortunately Esquire went the extra mile in their transition from menswear magazine to the mens version of Cosmo.

They even decided to take an honorable clean cut man about town and turn him into a (superbowl) Orville Redenbacher esque mockery of what he once was.

Esquire has become more and more dominated by the Streetwear and Denim crowd. Bought the last issue and the last ********* Book. Wish I could get a refund for both...

I think it very indicative of the narcissistic age we live in that fully a third of this little video is given over to credits. And lest we let the magic persist for more than a second, we meet the head behind the Esky head. Thanks a lot.

In a sad way it's a bit fitting that the vid was shot at the Savoy Hotel which itself is but a shadow of its former self after its recent "modernisation.
