Didn't care as much for the first episode this season. Halfway through the second, I shut it off. The writing seems forced this year.
I personally think the storyline has really dropped since Series One, but I don't watch it for that anyway - I like the costumes and sets. Although some of the costumes are a bit dodgy - Hugh Bonneville's uniforms in Series Two are appalling.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. What I'd really like to see is to have one of them go to France and meet this little Belgian policeman named Poirot,...
I found it very soapy. I'm sure it will only get more so in the third series, but I will still watch it as I love Maggie Smith.![]()
I see that the second season on Amazon is listed as the "original unedited UK version." Does anyone know if the episodes here in the U.S. are edited on PBS?
