Hey everyone I’m new here. Just had a quick question. Does anyone know anything about this hat? It’s a cinch black label. It was a gift from my pop. I’ve looked online and can’t find information about the hat anywhere. It seems like an expensive hat though.

I posted a reply earlier but then I went back and actually read what you wrote (instead of just scanning it). Scanning gets me in more trouble!

That's a wool hat, which is to say it is not a work hat or an inclement weather hat. It's good for formal occasions or boot scooting or going to church.

Hats these days are worth what people will pay for them. There is a similar hat offered on eBay for $99. I personally don't think you can put a value on a gift from your dad, though. My dad gave me $50 the other day just for the heck of it. I'm a grown man but it still felt special.

You might get a hat brush off the Bay or at your local boot barn and clean it - it should brush up nicely.
