Does anyone here know which make/model/year car that is? I've never seen one before, I really like it, and I'd like to try to learn more about it.
First, you're not alone. Second, they're cool. Third, that model was produced by Divco from 1937 to 1986 with very few changes, so it was clearly a practical and functional design that got the job done.I have no idea why but I've always been fascinated with those little milk trucks.
I found a decent little Divco a few years back, but my wife's perplexed look brought me back to reality.![]()
It could be a heavily customized Nash.Does anyone here know which make/model/year car that is?
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. It's definitely a curiosity. It does appear to have been heavily customized, but it seems odd that a car that had that much work done to it would end up on a used car lot.It could be a heavily customized Nash.
Whatever it is, I'd take it for a spin.
Corvette prototypes and concept cars over the years have ranged from "interesting" to "what were they thinking?", particularly in the early days, and the "Corvette style" even extended to other prototypes that didn't necessarily bear the Corvette name. The 1954 Chevy Nomad (which never went into production) was essentially a Corvette station wagon......Is that a prototype or some sort of riff on a Vette?
That's the 1954 Oldsmobile F-88 concept car. It survives today. An inside look at one of those GM bus thingamajigs.![]()
