I'm most often not a fan of goat hide....but your Sheeley goat is more than nice, it's gorgeous and that jacket has great style as well. You've had some exceptional jackets that have influenced me and this one sure got my attention..but I must resist..resist...resist...

Why resist? It is not that often that you find something you want now. That being said all credit for that jacket comes to @tmitchell59 for finding and buying the original one and @Maverickson for doing such a great job!

This is a late 30s California Sportswear jacket in goathide. As you can see it is toast. California Sportswear did the most interesting jackets during this era.

Dave really labors to get all the details correct. Often these details are nothing you would actually see. They are in the construction. In this case the curved zipper.
