Coral Pink Lipstick, anyone?

I don't want to hijack the coral pink thread, but I am curious what other pinks would have been vintage-y that are on the market these days? I don't know much about pink, but I think I would like a softer pink for summer.

I used to be very anti-pink because it was girly, and I would rather have died than be girly lol I am starting to embrace being a woman, and I actually own 2 articles of pink clothing for the first time in about 15 years I am trying

That sounds right! I've never actually seen the shade though.

I haven't worn pink lipstick since middle school, so it's very weird for me wearing pink instead of red. It's a nice change though!

I hadn't realized that MAC lipsticks were $14. The one time I went to a MAC store, I was completely ignored. There weren't any other customers in the store at the time, but literally none of the salespeople even said hello. Needless to say, I'm not particularly impressed with the company, no matter how much everyone loves their lipstick.

My problem is that I am color blind, and when I think I have found two colors that match, they never do. So, if you happen to see a shade that is close to the pink red, could you point it out? I would be greatly appreciative

This should be the same color as the sample on the website, if you can actually tell what this color is from the little text

I use Mary Kay its the only lipstick that wont dry my lips out

On a color note i like the tiger lilly lip gloss and coral lipstick it is a light coral peachy color. I found that i like cranberry wine colors too. I was introduced to these colors by my consultant who gave me free samples. My advice would be free samples see what works for you.

I was watching Kate Winslet on the Biography channel yesterday and there was a still of her and she had the most gorgeous rose coloured lipstick on - I've tried to see if I can track down the photo online but to no avail.

It may have been something like this:

The colour I want would be a matt rose colour - am going to have a look in MAC tomorrow - any suggestions would be welcome!

All of my pinks are very shimmery except for one from Bourjois. However, I did read some where that shimmery lipsticks came out in the 1950s so in that context it may not be entirely inappropriate? Just inappropriate for mature woman like me? Well, shimmery lipsticks look good on me in the summer so unless I can actually feel those specks, I'll wear them! I hate feeling those flecks of "metal"!

I won't buy glosses anymore no matter how much I may like a color otherwise. I hate that sticky feeling and they've all felt sticky regardless of what they've promised.

Uhm...I'm not actually sure of which pinks I own and which I used to own.

Bourjois delices de cerises or something like that isn't shimmery but creamy. It looks pinkish on me.

My new Lancome lipstick is a shimmery coral but not pinkish, at least not on me. So Frivolous Rouge.

Paul & Joe - Coral Glow.
Mary Kay - Pink Coral or Pink Daisy look like the kind of shades I'd like to try.

Christian Dior: B&G Lipstick - No. 422 Angelic Coral is very high on my wish list but someone else will have to buy it for me.

I have a hot matte pink eye shadow from Gosh but I'm looking for brighter shades of pink because it really suits my eyes and complexion.
