A very rare hat indeed. 1940s or 50s?
The "100" designation means it used to cost one hundred dollars at the time. A forty-dollar hat was considered very luxurious, and a 100 dollar hat was extravagant. Size 7 3/8 or 59 cm. The Vicuña content makes for dream-like felt. The hand is the best I've owned. Leather case included. The hat is immaculate.
