The straw he wore is really similar in style and proportions to the felt hat he wore (not the bowler) and I would assume they are customs. Looking through some online pics, the hats appear to have a gambler style or pork pie crown. Texas Hatters has done a lot of TV and Movie hats and would probably be as good a place to start as any. Look at their High Roller for a similar style.
