British suit - great fabric - bad converted lapels

Thuis would have been a lovely suit but I immediately thought the lapels looked odd. I looked again and I'm guessing it has been converted from peaked lapels. But the fabric is rather nice.

Yes indeed - this clearly was a peak lapel "notched down".

Very nice. My grandmother did very similar hatchet jobs to my grandfather's suits to "bring them up to date".
