CP, you consistently raise the bar in bow tie-dom.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style.
Just saw, in a Burlington for the first time, "Bill Robinson" brand sets of pre-tied, patterned bows and solid color pocket squares ($9.99). The square is a color found in the tie-- about half the examples were white.
They do have that "pre-tied look" and the knot looks like it could be a separate band wrapped around and stitched. Not sure about that. (If you unstitched, would you have a tie you could tie yourself, or would you just have odd pieces?)
I just wanted to post up my modest collection. Excuse the poor picture. The collection is either Beau Ties Ltd or Brooks Brothers. I do love em!!

I really like the way this gentleman does his ties, but for the life of me I can't replicate it.http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=BqWppnmfwcc[/video]
I would love to wear a bow tie but I can't get the hang of tying them! I have tried and tried watched videos looked at pics. I just can't get it down yet, but not going to give up...

It looks like the regular way except instead of bringing the end through the back, he pulls it up around the center and through the front.
As stupid as this sounds, I can't replicate it. Seriously. I have a big jumble of a mess trying to do the same move.
