For someone short and stout, this would be a great suit.

Although the trousers are short, the vendor said there were six inches to be let down on the leg.
Although the measurements suggest it is a very short jacket, it just doesn't look that short.

If the seller mismeasured the jacket's length, and it turns out that the jacket is really 30 or 31 inches long, then the seller gypped himself/herself out of several hundred dollars.

Looking at the photos I suspect the measurement of 27 inches from collar to hem is wrong. The sleeves are measured at 26 inches and are clearly at least two inches shorter than the jacket. Add to that the fact that the sleeves start at a point lower than the bottom of the collar, I would expect the actual length to be at least 30 inches. Furthermore, I would think it rather unusual to have a waistcoat measuring 26 and a half inches, whilst the jacket is just half an inch longer.

Somebody got a great deal on that suit, then. Let's see if it shows up on eBay again, with the right measurements stated, and gets $300++.

If that happens, and if the seller is smart, he/she should have the trouser inseam lengthened to 31 inches before putting the suit up on eBay.
