For sale: Attractions Biltbuck Lot 329 Limited Edition in sand horsebutt nubuck - size 9D (but runs large).
Asking $600 shipped in CONUS.
As much as it pains me, I've come to grips with the fact that I should have purchased at least 1/2 size larger in these boots. I am a 10E brannock, and went a full size down, when I should have only gone 1/2 size down.
Boots were purchased from Standard and Strange last Thanksgiving and have been worn less than 20 times. Most of those wears were for short periods of time. Primarily for a couple hours at a time on Sunday mornings to church. As you can see in the photos below, the boots are in extremely clean, lightly worn condition. I brushed them after each wear and used cedar boot trees. There are a couple light traces of indigo crocking, but minimal signs of wear otherwise. The boots were only worn during the winter time with wool boot socks from Red Wing, so the footbeds haven't seen much in the way of sweat.
Standard and Strange recommends 1/2 size down from your Brannock measurement if you are D width or true to size if you are E/ EE.
For reference, the following shoe sizes fit me well and these boots are 1/2 size too small with standard thickness socks.
Nike 11
Johnston and Murphy 10.5D
Converse Chuck Taylor 10.5
Red Wing Iron Ranger 9.5EE
John Lofgren M-43 10D
Alden 403 9.5E
