Attending a Movie Premiere: Any Pointers?

I hope this is the best thread to ask this.

My daughter and I will be in London the evening the new James Bond movie, SPECTRE, is set to appear.

We'd love to be outside the theater when this happens and watch all the stars going in, etc., etc. However, I have *never* been to a premiere before and of course, never one in London, either.

Has anyone else? Any pointers?
