Maybe a Whippet

This vintage Shudde Bros. looks an awful lot like a Whippet & I have gleaned that they didn't sell hats of their own manufacture, rather they purchased hats from the big boys & emblazoned them with their own logo on the liner & sweat...anyone know for sure?

Two of my Whippets- the light gray has a much wider brim that goes well with my 40's suits.

The Whippet is a hat that always has a bound edge and a medium wide ribbon. The bows all seem to be the same style. The hat has been very popular style and is close in appearance to the Stetsonian. It is a very sought after fedora here. The brim lenths are varied and the crowns are between 5"' and 5.5" as far as I have seen. Perhaps others can give dates of manufacture or any corrections to what I have written.
