Any of you gents know much about 'Sammy' cravats and scarves. I've come across some recently and I'm struggling to date them. If anyone's got a bit of knowledge I'll post 'em up!

I've a few Eddie they appear very similar to Tootal products to me ....I'll post some if I get chance soon.

Cheers. I'm just trying to work out if this one I've got is over-pressed Rayon or an early polyester instead.

I posted Tricel Sammy on page 63 of this thread Eddie, cloth feels similar to later Tootals.

I believe so, I posted an earlier Sammy on page 64 it's very similar to early Tootals 're the feel maybe slightly more silky than Tootals and less like cotton if that makes sense?

here's one I got at the weekend, no markings at all and made out of cotton?

the photo makes it look a bit washed out but in reality it's quite bright still with very little fading.

I've just discovered that this is most likely a Duggie with label missing as there's one Ebay UK currently on a buy it now identical!

It looks good if its high but not too tight, it has to be just right, by no means wearing ascot should bring discomfort to neck.

I found this one the other day. I've never seen one that wasn't 'bunched' in the middle. I quite like it.



Here's the label. I'm not familiar with the company.



Although it is acetate it's much more comfortable than Sammie's Tricel fabric...although not as comfortable as old rayon or silk.

I've a couple of Celanese DNO, they are nice if a tiny bit 'plasticky' with nice patterns and lovely labels!
