Any Binocular Experts in the house?

I picked up a very nice pair of 8x24 binoculars the other day, brass showing through the wear marks, so I assume war time or near that. No military markings save for "Rathenow" on one side and what looks like a very stylized "M" on the other side.

Rathenow is a German city that was the hub for optics production, apparently, so there is no makers name on them. Just wondering, I bought them for my outdoors kit and they're in great shape for the price.

I collect vintage binoculars. Yours could be WWI or WWII. Sometimes these were regimentally marked on the frame. Please post a photo if you can.
