It's very kind of you that you sent them, many thanks. When I see a B3 on somebody, it looks stunning to me. Yours is great but I think you already know that. Looks very authentic. Althougth yours is a bit shorter than mine proportionally.

Yes, please, Sloan. The updates would be great. It is, but the majority of shearling jackets were shorter, in part because they were designed for sitting in cockpits but also because they usually came twinned with shearling trousers for 'all-over warmth'.
Mind you, I forgot how good my Irvin looks - another month and it should be cold enough to wear it. I really ought to post some updated pics...
Have I missed the photos or you haven't posted them yet?My brand new Eastman 1942 pattern Irvin arrived today and it's the mutt's nuts... The best flying jacket I've ever seen or owned... Photos to follow over the weekend... Chuffed as a budgie.
Just in case anyone was needing some Irvin jacket appreciation, I see that Network is having an amazing 60% off sale this week and the complete series of Piece of Cake is up for grabs at a mere 2.80 Pounds !

John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Not quite real Irvin weather but I've been waiting 6 months now so I took advantage of the dip in temperature. Sorry it's a bit blurry, not the best light and Mum isn't the steadiest hand.
