Heads up to anyone considering buying from mn_95 -- I purchased this pair of Alden 987s from this seller and I believe I've been ****med.

The tracking provided goes through a site called globaleco.app using a carrier called "AirBusiness - USA Gifts" -- neither of which appear to be legitimate. The shipment was supposedly created on May 31 and has never received a single carrier scan. When I followed up, I was told the package was in a locker and construction had delayed pickup.

I've requested proof of postage and have not received it. I'm in the process of disputing the charge with my payment provider.

If you're looking at any active listings from this seller, I'd strongly recommend holding off until this is resolved. Happy to share more details via PM. Just didn't want anyone else to get burned.

I believe I was ****med from this guy too. Paid him over two months ago for vibergs he listed. Said he was going to use royal mail and after delay after delay and lieing more than once about shipping them, he finally sent me tracking using Evri, which links to global eco and has separate tracking for usa gifts. The websites seem sketch af.

I made an account on FL just to buy that listing but am active over in the Stitchdown community.

It’s unfortunate. I hate to have to buy things through G&S, but it nearly always pays off if you have to deal with one of these swindlers. Unless you have a relationship with the seller who people who know them, always use G&S.

In the Stitchdown community it's always f+f but it's a paid community and I've never heard of any ****s there. Here it was my own fault, I saw he didn't have a rich post or sales history but I took the risk anyway and got burned.

If my boots ever show up I'll happily apologize and delete these posts, but I'm 99% sure he's a fraud.

I want to rescind my statement about them being a ****mer and offer an apology to mn_95.

This was the messiest, most protracted and nerve wracking transaction I've ever had in many years of buying clothes and footwear from strangers on the Internet, but the pair of vibergs I paid them for did indeed arrive at my house today, 2.5 months after paying for them, wrapped in only a plastic bag and much dirtier than the advertised photos. But arrived they did and I wasn't ****med.

Hopefully others who paid this person also get their stuff. I will certainly be more careful about requiring references and using a payment service with buyer protection in the future, if only to have a bit more peace of mind when transactions start going wrong.

That’s great to hear!

I still have not received my package and tracking just says “created” so I doubt they will ever show up. If they do, I’ll let folks know.
