Another question. Who is the dynamic designer at Alexander's who managed to put out an entire fabulous collection of jackets in what appears mere months that would take any other company decades to assemble? He or she deserves a lot of credit.

Yeah, I want to see an interview with that guy/gal! What were their inspirations, where did they study fashion and design, what was the thinking behind (say) several of their designs, what difficulties did that have to overcome when taking designs from sketches to patterns, and scaling them up for different sizes? So many things I'd like to know about this hither to unheard, nay! UNMENTIONED design genius!

Unless, of course, the design genius is unheard of because he/she doesn't exist, and didn't make all those designs and patterns in 'mere months'.

Which begs the question;

Where did Alexander leathers designs and patterns come from? Where is the 'genius' who put this all together so fast?

I think the best thing to do is take AL at their word and let their 'jackets do the talking'. The upside to all of this is the new designs from Aero. They put some clear water between Aero and the AL offerings.

ALEXANDER LEATHER COMPANY LIMITED Changed it's name to SIMMONS BILT CLOTHING COMPANY LT on 03/02/15 according to companies house.

So why are they still calling themselves Alexander leathers on their website and when making statements/issuing threats and presumably taking payments, orders etc.

Why change name and then carry on representing yourself by your old name....all seems too dodgy and worth avoiding to me, so I will.

That's what leaves some of us shaking our heads. The admitted limited knowledge of what has happened in the last year or so concerning BK on several fronts and even with the facts offered by Sloan and statements by Superfluous about recent Aero/ IH/AL revelations you are intent on deflecting much of it as ‘doesn't really matter'. Alot of..I seem to remember...I don't remember...Don't know what happened in the end.

Some members of the congregation here seem to be suffering from a delusion common among zealots that everyone else is as fanatical and as fascinated with their chosen religion as they are; and the one thing they hate above all things, even rival religions, is indifference. Because to be indifferent is like holding up a mirror and showing them their mania.

Overnight - for me - this mess of a thread has gone on for what seems like another hundred pages. Not that I’ve read them. I really can’t be bothered to speculate about the dancing of angels on leather needles as it all slips into the sand.

So as the girl said as she rolled over and got up to go to work: You carry on without me....

Not sure, as it's not a given under Scottish law that this will happen. The case was delayed over and over again by the defence to let them prepare - the eBay evidence they led was only called for at the start of this year - so I doubt they can argue that they didn't have time to prepare. As far as I know, there's only a week-long window to lodge an appeal after sentencing, and you can only appeal length of the sentence or evidence, but not the result.

I think it has been apparent from the beginning that any discussion about this from any of us is sincerely and honestly quite beneath you. Yet for some reason there is ambition to go on and on about that as a regular participant in something that only bores you. Perhaps a similar thing as you are accusing of us except for repetitious remarks that only result in no new information except further expressions of explaining,once again, your disdain for this topic. Your fascination with this thread has also been obvious, although you feel inclined to deny it. But with that contradiction, keep in mind...some us really do understand.

They can't. Aero could've emailed only their own customers and I still haven't gotten anything, on neither of the two email addresses I have with them.
