1935 belted back suit 36-37 very very short

great belted back suit in a bit of a weird size. the widths would almost fit me (shoulders would be too narrow, trouser waist too wide) but it is beyond short.
either made for a stocky child or very short man:

That is almost certainly for a very stocky child. Or a "little person" (not sure of PC term).

Saw a 30s dinner suit at a thrift shop not long ago, but man was that suit tiny, i believe it wasn't even a 36 chest and forget about the slacks had to pass.
