Warm, and muggy this afternoon with just enough breeze to not be stifling....sitting out back under a toquilla straw, with some Tequila Ocho Reposado, and a decent cigar...today it's a My Father Connecticut

By the way the short brim on the Dobbs makes it a great archery hat. Have one of the bows out today and it doesn't get in the way at all

I guess I'm old school....one of my bow quivers actually has a cigar clip on it.....I learned the hard way many years ago that cigars and bowstrings don't play well lol

Whew its HOT. Just down off a hot metal patio roof applying some elastimer paint to some leaks. After all these years I'd think I'd know better than to get up on a roof in Texas in mid June lol. Threw a cheap Stetson polyester Panama up top for the sun. It's getting rather dingy after three years of being a dedicated yardwork hat. I'm tempted to pull the hat and off and see if I can just run it through the dishwasher lol!
Anyway now that I'm done and back on the ground, its Belgian White and orange juice time!

Did a bit of cleanup on the Polyester Panama. little bit of Dawn detergent and a bit of light scrubbing and it cleaned right up. Much easier to clean than a straw or light colored felt! Figure I can mow grass for ANOTHER three yrs till it needs cleaning again! I LIKE a 20 minute hat cleaning!
SO now we all know... Not what Id ever call a real quality hat, but it looks decent in the grocery store and its the best lawnmower hat Ive ever had
