Really depends on your wardrobe and whether you care about mixing colours. I can't abide mixing black and brown myself, so I like to have both, though I found the Corodvan colour, a sort of reddy-purply-burgundy-oxblood shade to be the most flexible of all colours of leather I've had, as it works well with both earthtones and blacks / greys/ blues. Personal choice, though - if black goes with all of your wardrobe, it's as good a hue as any.
Right now my wardrobe are mostly earthtones, denim or white. Black seems cool, but I'm not the biggest fan of it to be honest. I felt like asking them and searching it up might be the biggest mistake I've done cause now I'm just stuck. That's another reason why I started my list with tea core.

Black can be worn with pretty much anything (except maybe black pants, feels too rockerish for me to pull off) and it is very unlikely you will ever in your life think "what on earth made me go for THIS colour, I can't stand it no more". From my experience in collecting both jackets and watches, there is colours that intrigue and that you feel look fantastic, but they are very temporary... Black is not one of those colours. You intend to wear this for years and years, right? A heirloom piece? Go with black or dark brown.

I'm currently thinking about the cxl horsehide either brown or black for the aero. As for the lost worlds, not sure if the russet horsehide is too bright for me, but the black seems nice.

I own the LW Test in russet and black horsehide; can post side by side comparison when I am back home.
