Selling my spot in queue for Kreosote boots!

Hey guys,

I purchased a pair of Kreosote 7s on Feb 6, 2024, and sadly, my taste has changed, so I am selling my spot in the queue.

I contacted Gabbard to ask for a refund, but he refused, rightfully so. (No refund policy) However, he suggested I sell my place in the queue to someone else. I imagine the waitlist is even longer now! (Edit: wait time is 4.5 years now)

My Boot Order is 28 months into a 42-month wait list, so still 14 months before the boots go into build rotation.

Info:
- Made to measure for the client (client being whoever takes my spot, there is no ready-to-wear for Kreoste 7), Clients must provide a personal foot measurement before the build for each boot.
- 14 months to go before build
- The boots are customisable, but you need to ask Gabbard for specific details.
- Shipping is US only for the time being
- Spot is just for the Kreosote 7 model
- All build details are under the Kreosote 7 page on his website

From Gabbard: "Before you transfer (sell your spot in the queue) I have a specific guide line that I follow before taking on a new Client and that is a detailed phone conversation needs to take place much like the one you and I had back in 2024 before I opened up the KREOSOTE website for you to place your boot order. This provides me with a detailed understanding of the boot style and materials needed to complete the MTM process."

No sizing, I haven’t sent the measurements yet. It’s a spot for the limited edition MTM / bespoke Kreosote 7. Gabbard told me it would have to be for the Kreosote 7 (to the clients measurements)

EDIT- he's ignored my DM and ignored my response here after he took time to post, again. Quite frankly this doesn't feel on the up and up, I'm out. Unless there's some reason unbeknownst to me why one would make a FS post, take time to comment and be active afterwards, but not respond to DM's.

Relax haha. I’m travelling at the moment. And I’m still going back and forth with Gabbard to figure out logistics.

Update: before taking on a new client he needs to have a detailed phone conversation with them. Also, shipping US only for the time being.

Not just size, they will be made to measure to your feet. He even takes into account how a person's feet widens with age. As for colour you should ask him, I think the shell is black but dyed so it fades into a brown or blue (special K7 colour)
