Yesterday the new suit arrived so today is its first outing and chance to wear my first custom made hat. It is cowboy weight beaver so tough as nails.

Today a hat I have not shown before, but have had a little while now: a circa 1950 (?), Barbisio. Nice felt this one, it is "Rat-Gondin" (Nutria). Really wide brim this one too, 2 3/4"to the curl. Great proportions.:)

I think this one would be good for ANY type of weather.........it seems tough.
