Hey this may not be the best place for this post, so if there's a better thread to post on let me know and I will! I'm super new to this platform.

What type of leather jacket is this if anyone can tell? It doesn't have tags and looks a lot like a 1950s Windward by Montgomery Ward motorcycle jacket, but there are no exact matches. Everything I can find either has a belt, a pocket in the wrong place, or zippers that don't match. What do y'all think?

Again, direct me to a better place to post this if there is one.
Thanks

Difficult to tell from the pics but seems the belt and loops might have been removed and a pocket zipper replaced? Looks a lot more like a Windward if so.

Looks like a Windward, but you usually see them with belts.
From the pictures, it doesn't look like this jacket had one.
That was my thought, is there a chance the jacket had a belt at one point and it/the belt loops were taken off later? Or do you think this is a one-off/draft from the maker? I'm not knowledgable enough in the industry to know if that's a possibility or not. Either way, the seller is asking for around 450 for it, does that sound like a good deal?

If there was a belt, you should see signs of removal, especially in the front.
The sales price seems a little optimistic, you can find these if you're patient.

Here a couple of pictures of a Windward that I had and sold for around $400, but the condition was better than the one you've posted.
