This one is painful. I own an Eastman Leather Ostmann jacket, vintage model from the 2000s and I love it. Such as versatile, incredibly well fitting cool jacket. So naturally I also wanted the other German Flight jacket which Eastman offered: The Hartmann as worn by Erich Hartmann, highest scoring fighting ace of all time.

Very similar in design except buttoned pockets instead of the hand warmers on my Ostmann. Or so I thought...
Either Eastman's sizing changed some time since the 2000s when they started delivering to the Asian Market or these jackets are cut much more differently than I thought.. because this size 42 is so trim, I look like an absolute sausage trying to zip it up. I am 1,78m, 83 kg athletic but for this you need to be either taller or slimmer in the waist than me, because while shoulders and chest fit perfectly, it is just way too snug in the waist on me.
I bought this second-hand new and unworn, the previously owner ironically must have had the same fit issue as me, because there is no other reason to pass this on. The brown Capeskin feels incredibly luxurious. It is soft, it drapes beautifully and is in the most gorgeous shade of brown - which my ****py phone is unfortunately not able to properly catch on pictures.
Jacket has not been worn by me either, so it is basically brand new except for the ever so slightest scuffs from storage and moving it around. There isn't even noticeable creases on the sleeves, just the bare hint of them from trying it on. The button on one of the pockets has a few loose threads, this might need fixing if the button is going to be operated a lot.
Measurements:
Shoulders: 49cm
Chest pit to pit: 57cm
Bottom hem: 48 cm (it can be taken in even further by side adjusters, lol)
Back length: 63 cm
Sleeves: 65 cm
This retails new for a whopping 1300 GBP, I am selling it for less than half of that:
700€ plus shipping.
Pictures in the next post.
They don't really do the jacket justice, limitations of my phone. This piece is as gorgeous as you could only imagine.
