Camp collar leather jacket - what do you guys think?

Came across some pics of this goatskin jacket from Brunello Cucinelli with a camp collar. I really liked it, though I would probably delete the front-pockets. Somehow the buttons make it seem more "sartorial" then most leather jackets. The jacket resembles leather car coats like the Schott 544 a bit, but it is somehow shorter and more fitted, which I greatly prefer.

Many leather jackets, especially in black, have a certain rakish or grungy look, but to me this jacket gives a very classy vibe. Was thinking of asking JL if they can make something like this. What do you guys think?

I think that if you like the idea and the look, go for it.

Well, I was really asking you guys if you like the look or not. Curious what people think about this style.

Can't speak to that jacket in particular as I don't know the brand, but I do like the camp collar shape. I like it on a shirt that I plan to wear tieless: folded out over jacket collar, a much nicer look than it just looking like I've forgotten to wear a tie. On a jacket I like it for the opposite reason: it enhances the overall look when worn with a collar an tie underneath. I have my eye on a black Aero Rockafella for this reason once I can manage the finances.
