Before I discovered the high-end, artisan jacket makers we all appreciate on TFL, I was pretty dang satisfied with Coach. One can certainly find things to criticize when comparing them to top shelf options, but I'm still impressed by how nice these jackets are, given their price-point (MSRPs around $1,000 but usually available on sale at some point).

I know these won't be popular here, as they aren't heritage pieces, but if you're not yet too snooty to consider a "fashion jacket", have a look at links below for more details. I like each of these enough to keep them in my rotation, despite owning "better" jackets, but alas, the weight has been gained and I have to be realistic about my middle-aged bod.
