Vintage style socks: argyle and plaid

You-all might want to know that Paul Fredrick has a clearance on socks right now, and while some are boring and lame, several of them are very fedora lounge-oriented. The bluish (indigo) plaid ones are particularly nice; the argyles are great too. I just got mine in a moment ago and am pleased:

I went in to buy a pair of socks at Horseland, I purchased the brown ones, and also bought high riding boots reduced from $89.00 to $59.00 which were again reduced to $32!!!! at the cashiers desk!!!

Thought I'd revive this thread, since I'm looking to ask for some new Argyles for Xmas. I'm looking for them to be under £20, unbranded, wool and available in the UK?

Burlington use mixes and don't last well, which is a shame since they used to be my natural choice.

managed to pick up a very nice pair by Viyella recently, in fact I brought two for the price of a pair of Burlingtons and they look to be better quality!

It's that time of the year when Santa never forgets that I like two tone Argyle patterned socks. Come December 26th, I will have yet another drawfull.

I now have so many patterned socks, especially striped, that I won't need to buy socks for years.

A couple of the kind of Argyle socks that Santa will leave. Having seen some of jchance's collection I would say that Santa has no sense of fun!
