This week it's an elk stag Buck 505 knight from the custom shop in my pocket organizer , and this 1950's Case sheeps foot jack in my vest pocket.

For this week I'm going with a Case that I modified.
It started as a 62032 stockman in peach seed jigged amber bone, I took it apart, reassembled it with just the main blade and Jigged the bolsters because I couldn't get the file Mark's out.

Chris Reeves small Sebenza 31 with MagnaCut blade, polished titanium case, and 3,000 year old bog oak inlays...

Very sturdy and clears the 3" blade rule most countries adhere to, so I can travel with it.

That’s a beautiful knife. Love the bog oak. I didn’t know they had a “31” model. I wonder what distinguishes it from the older versions…

Just various little tweaks and improvements, mostly. The 31 is just the current Sebenza, they don't make a non-31 anymore.

The original Sebenza ran until like 2008, at which point it was replaced by the Sebenza 21.

In 2012, they introduced the Sebenza 25, which was not a true next generation, but kind of it's own thing, basically an exercise in making a heavier-duty Sebenza. That ran alongside the 21 until 2016, when they discontinued it. The Inkosi dropped that year, and is the true spiritual successor to the Sebenza 25.

They continued making the 21 until 2019, when they introduced the true next generation Sebenza, the 31. The 31 is an evolution of the line, although it does take some elements from the 25 as well.

WOW thanks for the detailed response. Appreciated. I have owned what I think is a “regular” sebenza for many years, and at one time paid closer attention to the evolution, but haven’t paid attention in a while and missed most of what you’ve explained.

I've been growing fond of Ruike brand knives for a less expensive, but very comparable alternative to Victorinox Swiss Army knives. Disclaimer: NO financial interest.

Yooo! You guys on here with your CRKs! I always tell folks that these are the absolute best pocket knives money can buy (for a readily available production knife). This isn't the best picture but I've a few myself. Also a little Mnandi and my wife a small S21.
