I assume some of us have these…. Thoughts? Worth the high cost? Anyone have one to part with?
Some people don't like them because they are cotton duck backed rather than double leather thickness or single thick layer...
I have many cross zip belts, some single layer thick leather, some double layer thin leather and the LW leather + duck ones, and i have to say that in use the LW is my favourite because of how unobtrusive it is.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. I have to agree with @Carlos840 here. At first I was a little bummed, since I expected a heavy buckle and double horsehide leather, and a really sturdy belt.
In real life, it’s really unobtrusive, easy to fasten and undo, and the cotton backing keeps it from sliding like the one on my Vanson. I think it’s worth what Stu chargers.
Thanks so much! Will Stu add those keepers? I’ll ask him, of course, but thought I’d check here first to see if anyone else has had them added by him!The sliding thing on the Vanson belts is really annoying...
If you wear the jacket with the belt undone you basically have to hold the buckle in your left hand or it will slowly fall down because of the weight of the buckle and the lack of friction from the leather linning.
@tweedydon if you and up going for a full leather belt make sure it has these keepers:

With a leather belt they really help the belt stay in place.
The LW belt has enough friction on the duck side that it doesn't slip under it's own weight.
