Yes this was customized jacket, done around maybe late 2020 early 2021? Yes it's a bit longer than the vintage Lightnings. It was a tight fit 391 I had altered just a bit more size 38. The order was done through The Stronghold, they sent it over to Lewis Leathers in London, took about 3-4 months for me to get it.

Thank you. I didn’t even appreciate that the veg-tan cow was around that long. Beautiful hide, especially when you see it in the flesh. Too bad about the very hefty upcharge.

By far the nicest leather I got from aero, and it is a quite lighter batch than usual. You've got to see it in person to admire the grain and colour depth and transparency, photos don't do justice. And I love the colour combination with the creme shearling.

Something quite different today.

German Airforce Bomber. This is the „upgraded” version in goatskin.

Nothing special, but a nice casual piece with a certain “edge”. They are quite inexpensive, especially if you source used army issues (with the flag patch on the shoulders).

Beautiful coat - the color is so rich looking which conveys taste and style. I have a 2016 version LHB in Cordovan CXL Steer but the color is not quite as red as yours but still nice.

The longer style coats work well especially if one is on the taller side which is why I prefer them.
