This is not cheap, but just look at the condition & build quality. The details alone are so well finished, and the proportions are all just right. Only little "hang up" for many nowadays would be the 22" back length. This is quite an incredible jacket, and piece of history, that is fully wearable as-is. Hope someone who will really appreciate it snaps this one up.

I recently got a Blatt identical to this jacket. It compares to the best of that time and does have a nice fit. Fits me a bit longer. So many jackets in this style new and old. How do you choose?

I just saw this post! That is an old video. That is a different jacket. I have one that is identical to the ebay jacket.

I own one of these. I believe they’re from the 40’s, not 30’s.

it is dated 1938 by the zipper and label. What is more interesting is the leather. Note the shine, like a patent leather shoe. It jumps out at me. I don't have any other leather that has that look/feel. I bought the jacket so I can compare them.

That jacket didn’t have a label and the front zipper was replaced. You can see the pulls and part of the slider on the pocket zips though. They look to be early 40’s sunburst Talons.

To the How do you choose question here, for me it sometimes has to come down to asking price and my monthly budget allowance. That Blatt is wonderful but a purchase that large I have to plan a little for.
