According to Reddit of 2 years ago,
perfectos were in the $350-400 range.
So at least from what I gather, the best part of the sale are the chances of finding a unique jacket at a cheap price. But for someone like me who is looking for a specific jacket (the 371 in a large), I'm probably looking to get a discount that may be slightly better than the black friday sale, but not by much. It would be enticing to see if they have interesting suede/roughout jackets/truckers - but the 4 hour commute using public transportation (and holding a bunch of cash) doesn't seem worth it to me atm.Depends on the jacket, but that’s fairly doable. There’s one I got for $500 because it was a one-off with a unique leather, since I already had my 613SH I passed along the one I saw for $400 to another person there.
The most interesting jackets you’ll see won’t be Perfectos though imo. Look out for the cool stuff.

That's tempting lol. How quickly do the suede truckers (in large) sell out? Realistically I won't get there until the middle of the event, if end up going. They tend to have a ton of suede and other western style jackets hanging on the clearance racks.
You also don't need to take out money beforehand (though I usually do) as there are ATMs on site and the local PD comes to the sale to keep an eye on things.
Yeah that's a fair point. This is true for any sample sales, not just Schott: if you’re looking for a specific style in a specific size, you’re most likely not going to find that at a sample sale or at the end of season sale, when inventory is low and is mostly leftovers.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Awesome, glad it was worth it. I'll definitely try and get there next year. Were there a lot of options towards the end of the sale period? It was great. It wasn't excessively crowded.
Quite a few good pieces at the B-grade/sample section.
Many 613, 618, 519, 603US (Cafecto) and 568VN and etc along with some unique discontinued pieces like
619 and Per28 and etc.
Prices range from $300 to $400. I personally couldn't find the "defects" and frankly at that price point I wouldn't care as long as there's no holes, rips, non-functional zippers and such.
The regular A-grade pieces are discounted with 25% to 30% off.
They also had their Engineer Boots for $100
All in all, it was totally worth the drive with just a little bit of wait in line.

For those wondering how the sale environment is, found these 2 links from the 2023 and 2022 sales:

NIce, I'll probably make time (and a budget) for the sale next time.Schott posted some pics taken from their 2025 sample sales on their social media.
