How do we know it’s a Cal?

Everything about it screams Cal. The general shape of each leather panel, the black satin lining, Talon zippers in the right places, two back-of-neck snaps, etc. but i’ll point out some specifics:

Sleeve double-row stitching and Cal signature’s stitched pocket onto the leather.

4 rows of stitching in the back kidney panel, 3 rings for side laces, and belt loop snapping from bottom to top.

I’m a tight 46 and would love a 48 like this one however, the P2P seems super short and the seller says it has a generous back that makes up for it but I don't see how that could be. Mind sharing your perspective on the cut?

Sorry, I never owned one. I would assume it fits like a comet, which is fitted.
