Hello, Long time reader, First time poster.
I think this size is too big for me, like the shoulders and... everywhere.
It's better if i un-button it, but not exactly right.
But I’m seriously underweighted, so there’s no smaller size available.
So.. my question is: “Does this coat look acceptable to wear, or is it too big out of question?”

And just in case if anyone asks: Yes, i do live in a Cold place. No, I don't ride a horse.

For most of the people that will see you in it, it looks fine.

For people like us here at TFL, it's probably one size too big (but if it were mine, I wouldn't want to lose any sleeve length. )

Thank you for your words, if only it were one size smaller!

I don't think it's oversize to the point where it looks bad/comical. It looks alright.
You might be happy to have room to layer if it is actually cold where you live.

I would keep it and give it a go, a lot of my winter coats felt oversized at first, but after living with them a few years i realised that as much as i like well fitting/tighter leather jacket, i enjoy a slightly oversized winter coat.

A lot of the warmth of clothing is the ability to store warm air around your body, it's hard to keep warm in tight cloting.
You don't want it to be so big that you get cold breeze coming in, but you don't want it too tight either...

If it's cold enough to wear it at all, the bulk will look appropriate. My choice of accessories would be a fur ushanka, a silly grin, and about three flasks of "anti-freeze" stashed here and there in those nice pockets.

Ok it's not that cold.

Better "a bird in hand, than two in the bush".

Your jacket seems to fit fine, so long as you are OK with chest size.

Since buttons are mostly "immovable" due to leather supporting panels, Strongly suggest considering adding a waist belt in extreme cold to slightly constrict the waist, and preventing intake of cold air into the body of the jacket. This will make the jacket much warmer in very cold temps.
