Sunday and the hats of the week.

Weather was cool enough in the morning to give the refurbished Hückel Durit a spin.

Wednesday was a bit special. Met up with Daniele @Daniele Tanto, his partner and daughter in Haarlem for lunch on this lovely spot here along the Spaarne river. We didn't talk about too much so as not to bore the ladies to death.
The English Hatter was the hat for the occasion.

The second hat; pecan colored Borsa, is my pick of the week. Nice water feature!

Another great lineup. I can’t go past the Borsalino Ecosan Biber. Etsuko gives her vote to the Borsalino following that.

Another great array of hats, Stefan, and a meet up with Daniele. What a week?
Steve took the exact words out of my mouth! LOL. Fabulous hats Stefan. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Very nice. I love the edge treatment on the brim.

Is that a narrow tieclip on the bow? Nic touch.

It's still too hot for felt here in London ,so my silver-grey milan Stratoliner went to Sunday service this morning. Mostly been wearing one of my Stratoliners or an Akubra Capricorn this last week.

Thank you Edward. I believe this triple stitch overwelt they used on these Flagship hats they called “wafer edge”. I’ve been experimenting with using vintage tie clips to add a little bit of personality to the hat bands without puncturing the felt or ribbon. And can be quickly moved from hat to hat.
