What do you think about these old hat machines...

My friend left behind a pretty huge collection of vintage hat making machines as well as blocks and tools. I'm trying to get a sense of the value of these things, and which ones are still viable in the current world of haymaking.

This is just a fraction of it all. I've already deduced that we have a couple of Doran Bros Pouncers. It's to the left of the Singer table the first photo. And there are two double arm ***mings presses that I think are more than 100 years old. A half dozen or more vintage Singer machines and more than 1000 wood blocks and about 100+ aluminum and rubber molds. And then stretchers, trimmers and trim. Its a lot!

TFL is an international forum and the value of what you have may be dependent in part on where this stuff is. From the blurry license plates in the background I'm guessing CA. Was this a commercially viable hatter that passed? What shop are these remnants from?

Hello. I’m a hatter from Italy, and I would be really interested in the brim flanges blocks. Please let me know if they are for sale.
